Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

I love watching cartoons when I was kid. I sometimes stay up late and wait for Chowder while talking on the phone. Some cartoons shows that I really wait for the time slots back then were Courage the Cowardly Dog, Shaun The Sheep, High 5 (this is a kid show you guys), Mr. Bean, and all the others.

One of them was the very classic Powerpuff Girls. When I was a kid, I always root for being Bubbles because she is the cutest among the three having her octopus dolls and with the cutest charming voice. Dibs!

So when my blockmate linked me this parody video, I had so much laugh and nostalgia about PPG!

"Have you ever typed with elbows?!" HAHAHAHAHAHA I LOVE RYAN HIGA!!

P.S.: I don't like the grown up PPG anymore. I think they are at their best in their kindergarten.

Baking 101: Mug Cake!

I've known for quite sometime that one of my very best friend, Sig, has been into baking recently. Every time we chat, I am always pushing her to bake for me since she has all the resources and the ingredients and of course the knowledge. Haha So last week, I asked her again to bake for me and she had sent a photo that contains all the ingredients and the process of making a Mug Cake. It was all easy! But I don't have the ingredients yet so I let it pass.

And so last wednesday while my boyfriend and I were making some home made pizza for everyone at home, I remembered the mug cake and immediately told my mother about it so she could buy all the ingredients for me. And she became somewhat excited. Hahaha

The next next day, I decided to do it since I have nothing in line for that day since it was also Holy Week so just staying at home is really a sort of 'social life' fasting hahaha chos.

So here's how I did it:

What You Need:

1/4 cup of Flour

An Egg

2 tbs of Cocoa powder

3 tbs of Milk

3 tbs of Sugar

3 tbs of Chocolate Chips

3 tbs of oil

A pinch of Salt

A dash of Vanilla Essence

First, prepare all the ingredients.

Note: Use baking gloves!

 I pour the flour and sugar first on a mixing bowl.

 Then I added the cocoa.

And the egg.

Mudra weren't be able to buy some chocolate chips so we use this Galaxy chocolate bar instead.

MIX MIX MIX MIX MIX MIX!!!!

Seryoso, bro. Messy hair, bro.

Mudra put this extra table in the kitchen for me 'daw' which means she's expecting more baking. Whaaattt.

After mixing, pour everything in a mug. Make sure that you use a microwaveable friendly mug to avoid explotions. Haha BE SAFE.

Set the microwave oven for 2 minutes or in my case, I use a 4 consecutive 30 seconds because I cannot figure out how to set the timer. Hahaha

TADAAAAA!!!!!

Masarap sya, in fairness. Not too sweet, not matabang. Tama lang for people who don't like too much sweets on their cakes. Try it guysssss! :>

And the mother is...

It has been a week or 2 weeks? already but I am blogging about HIMYM just now! If in any case you still don't know - How I Met Your Mother has finally ended for good. The last season had went too quick! Hahaha I think it was a whirlwind of emotions and everything to all of the characters, mostly Ted (well as usual).

ABOUT THE ENDING:

(Spoilers for those who still haven't watch it or are still doing a marathon but I doubt that you didn't know about this ending so kebs haha)

I like the ending. I like how everything had ended. It is not a shocker that mother had died and that Lily and Marshall had had another kid but what had bursted the climax for me was when Barney and Robin announced that they had got a divorce! I mean, they are the cutest and the awesomest above them all combined as a couple and then whaaatttt?!?!

But like I said... still... I like how everything went through. I like how the ending still had stick into the shows theme. I like how Lily and Marshall kept up being the cutest couple ever building their big happy family with Marshall continuing his dream on being a judge (fudge) and Lily supporting his husband. Only that I have only one question here: What happened to their Italy life? I mean, there's no stains of them having their life there with Lily continuing her dream. But maybe they had came back and I am just not paying attention (if in any case they had stated something about it). I like how Barney had become a father on his own - I bet if Robin can give him a baby everything is still okay for the both of them. I like how Robin had continue the dream of travelling and being a known reporter. I like how Ted had finally tied the knot after years of being with the mother. And also, I like how Ted and Robin still ended up together. Let's admit it guys, It has been Robin from the very start and it isn't impossible that they would end up together. Right??

I think How I Met Your Mother only just wants to prove that destiny can speak for itself and that life is always a surprise. Who would have thought that mother would die. Just like what Ted said on one of the episodes, "It's just a matter of pure destiny, the kind you just can't manufacture." And I think that's what the writers wanted to leave the audiences is that everything can happen and that the waiting is still the best part.

To top it all off, I LOVE IT!!! HUHU I kind of miss HIMYM though... I just hope How I Met Your Dad is just as good as HIMYM.

P.S.:

This scene when Lily was crying while in her Splice(?) or white whale costume during the Halloween was my favorite! Hindi ko alam kung tatawa ba ako o iiyak ehh.. Hahahaha <3 p="">

The toughest question ever.

And since its only 2 weeks and 3 days to graduation, here now lies the toughest question ever asked to a fresh graduate:

WHAT WILL YOU DO AFTER GRAD?

Well, kapag hindi ka nahirapan sa tanong na yan, IKAW NA TALAGA!

I am the kind of person who doesn't plan things because when I do, I make sure it will be done and if not, I'll be the saddest person in the world. But my life after grad isn't the kind where I can plan it overnight and just tell it to my friends that "Hey, I'll be getting a career in _______". Hindi naman yata ganun kadali yon, self. Well, before I thought it's like that but it's very far pala from what I have imagined.

And so I had three plans:

PLAN A:

Before, I planned on studying again. I am thinking of getting a degree on Creative Writing or Film because that's what I really wanted from the very start. And so I told this to my parents.... but they refuse on agreeing with this plan. They don't want to take financial responsibility with my tuition fee anymore. They told me that in order for me to study again, I must work hard so I can support my fees. Aww. NEXXXXTTTTTTTTTTTT!


PLAN B:

I thought of emailing some artsy people and take apprenticeships. By this, I could be exposed and I will be able to learn more about film or maybe photography or maybe with production and events. Plus, I can get to meet famous people and people who has a lot of connections! Butttttt... thinking about it, being an apprentice would make me gain a lot of knowledge but it cannot give me any money since I am only there to learn and not to be compensated for. Oh well....


PLAN C:

Hmmmm... maybe take a rest for a while. Hahahaha


Okaaay so no more PLAN D because I told myself that I have to get things done and final. This is a long time thing for the future that's I am planning not just some gala for me and my friends. So I said, let me think about things with no pressure.

And when the countdown to graduation happen.... that's when I realize that I need a job! Immediately! I can't stand on being just at home doing nothing having no money on my wallet for weeks! Hindi ako madaling ma bore because I can do anything I can think of like blogging or reading, I know that. But nung nagnilay ako about the future, I thought to myself that in order for me to go study again and travel, I must earn. And that's what I wanted to do. And in order for me to get what I want, I have to take action. But I must be patient. Haaayyy. Medyo intense yung last phrase na to but okay lang. Hahahaha

I am now sending my CVs to companies and had put this blog as one of my write up references so please HR people HIRE ME!!! HELP ME GET MY DREAM BECAUSE I KNOW YOU HAVE A DREAM OF YOUR OWN AND WE ALL DREAM AND I DREAM A DREAM!!!! Ano daw?! Hahahaha

While waiting for interviews, I have decided to keep this blog alive and kicking since it had been left out for the past months. Will be posting late happenings for the sake of blogging. Haha :>
