I was kind of into youtube videos lately. From korean movies, filipino seryes, music videos, and even animated mvs! What is happening???!! Chos. So anyway, I have this new interest... Video Editing.
This past semester, we got lots of video edits and I was the one who was tasked with it. Though it was kind of tiring and all plus the fact that you had to trim down some clips then you have to import it again for another scene was a blur but it was fun. Well, for me.
I got Windows Movie Maker Classic which is annoying because it doesn't respond most of the time at ang bagal pa. Well, hindi naman ako nag rreklamo nung una but discovering Windows Live Movie Maker makes me hate WMMC but I didn't. Kailangan ko pa pala siya. The only problem with live version is that it cannot read files with .mp4 extension!! Why?? WHY??? I googled it and it's true that I still have to convert every video to another file extension except .mp4. How about those phone videos? :(
ETO NA. CHALLENGE.
So last night, because I want to upload a video on a collab youtube account with my friend and because I want to have my own account because I want to put there lots and lots of edited videos, I downloaded AVS video editor. I waited 6 hours.. and then I was so happy when I was exploring it. New transitions. So many effects. Easy to navigate. Swak!
So I started my video editing thing and was about to save it then.. a window popped out saying that I need to purchase it or else there will be a watermark on the center of every video I will save. Sad realities. And of course, I will not purchase anything because in the first place I thought it was a 'free download'. And so I uninstalled it.
I also downloaded a video converter so I can use my .mp4 files but it was a bad idea again and I had to uninstalled it again because I cannot open those finished files.
I got no choice but to use the classic one in converting my videos then transferred it all to the live ver. for the real editing. And with much effort, I had my own youtube account with my first video uploaded.
This one is the edited version of this:
The first video (the one posted in vimeo) is edited using the classic version, that's why it's blurry plus that it is captured thru phone lang.
So my agenda is to have a good video editing software (I actually want the Sony Vegas or the Adobe. And I want the original CD of this for good quality, but it was too expensive. :( So I might stick into internet downloads) and a good good camera to capture moments. Soon. Soon.
