New found love

I've always wanted to have my own pet dog. When I was a kid, our dog "batangas" bit me because I kept on touching and squeezing and cuddling her so we could play. It's still fresh from my mem! It was a sunday and I cannot remember if i cried in buckets, all I could remember was that I ran to my father telling him that i got bitten by a dog and immediately he squeezed some garlic onto my finger. I didn't got any trauma or anything after that. I still wanted to have my own pet dog.

Summer of my tween years, I tried to find pet love on a cat. It was my Lola's ampon and I was staying there for a vacay. Everything was fine until this one afternoon I cooked noodles for us and the cat wouldn't want to eat! Pinilit ko sya by pushing his face onto the bowl (hahahahaha) but he wouldn't want it still. He got mad and was about to attack. Good thing I have shooing away skills. Haha Kakaloka! After that, I said to myself that I don't want a pet cat anymore although I find them really cute in photos.

We've had our first pet dog when I was in highschool na. I named her "Souffle" because she's so fury and brown. But she died early, masyado yatang namiss yung nanay nya?

Fast forward to 2013, when I convinced my mother to adopt a Shih Tzu pet from my Tita who sells one! Aaaaaand finally!

I originally planned of naming my dog Chowder (named after a cartoon character). But he's not a Chow-Chow so I had to think of another one. It was when I had watched an episode of HIMYM wherein Barney adopted a lost dog and named him, Brover. Hahahaha tadaaaaaaa!

Brover loves to sleep in comfy sheets like bed, comforter, or his favorite, CARPETS. And when he sleep, gusto nya nakatutok lang sakanya yung fan.

There's this one time when he was still a little baby at 3mos when I tried putting him on the hamper but he just ramble and find his way out.

Brover is also camera shy and its very hard for me to take a photo of him facing the camera in just one shot.

One thing I love about him is that he is really the sweetest! Whenever I take him out of his cage to play around the house, he stays beside me all the time. He always waits for me! When I move from one place to another, he moves away with me. Whenever I go to the bathroom to do stuff or even taking a bath, of course I can't take him inside mababasa sya even though he wants to, he waits for me as in patiently nakaupo lang sya sa labas ng bathroom door waiting na bumukas. Hahaha ccuutteee!! Plus its true that pets (dogs to be specific) could take your stress away! Yay!

Brover is now 5 or 6 months I think? Haha and he's really growing big!!!! I just hope he'll be quiet enough so I could finish this entry right now - he's been trying to get my attention. Echos. Haha
