BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS
Before the holidays, we celebrated my cousin's 33rd birthday at Tagaytay. Just a simple celebration with the family - we had lunch at Josephine's, played like kids again with old pambata games (we gonna kick, nanay tatay) while the parents devoured in the view of the taal lake, roam around Skyranch and went to SnR after. I love love how we get to have small gatherings like this outside home! <3
CHRISTMAS
We never celebrate Noche Buena every Christmas. Either I was the only one awake catching up on TV series or the whole family is asleep. Last year was like non any other - at 11pm, my cousin who lives next door came over so we could exchange gifts. She got me a neck travel pillow which is super efficient because we have a scheduled trip to Baguio after Christmas, and then my sister got me Tuesdays With Morrie. We just chit chat and catch up on kwentos like the happenings on Ms. Universe and how we don't normally do Noche Buenas. We woke up my mother at around past 12 to gave her our gifts. As pampalubag, naghanda sya ng bread and different bread jams as our Noche Buena. By 4am, our Tita from QC fetch us so we could celebrate with the whole family at Batangas with my Lola - our yearly reunion from the family on my mother's side.
We got there at around 7am, just in time for the mass before we headed to my Lola's house. We were so sleepy since we planned on not sleeping para hindi kami mabitin sa tulog which turned out to be quite a bad idea. But we got to sleep on the road so keri na.
When we got there at my Lola's house, she was teary eyed seeing us all! Aww! And then the never ending food feast has begun...
There was different type of food every meal time! Hindi namin kinaya we ended up with 4 rounds of tea bag! Hahaha we played bike with the little kids and then after dinner we all played bingo up until midnight! Sobrang saya ng reunion! And so happy we were almost complete and getting along! Happy christmas!

Days before Christmas, we just thought of the idea of celebrating post christmas and last hurrah before the year ends somewhere without the parentals and we ended up in Baguio! It was the most sponatenous trip - no plans and no hotel reservations thinking it was a holiday craze! Hahaha
I'll blog a separate post! Heehee
31st
Every December 31, it had been a tradition for me and my highschool girlies to meet up as our yearly reunion! Since this year was quite different - we have Baby Ereen to celebrate with us, we went to buy ice cream and then headed out to Joyce's since she can't go out. We did house hopping actually; we go into Rachel's first to eat and try out the ice cream using our hands dahil hindi nakatiis! Haha, then at Joyce's we had barbecue and buko salad and the morcon, and then at Camille's we just had puto and danced because they were playing music on the radio and feel like it's our jam haha, and then at our house. Looking forward for our next reunion of non stop laughters and kwentos, girlies! But before the 31st! Heehee
Don't you just love how everyone is going to be reunited during pre and post holidays? <3 Hoping you all had fun on your festivities with the family and friends!
